WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Manager, Marketing and Communications will integrate business units into functional marketing activities to achieve agency specific goals. The individual in this role serves as a key link between M&A, Corporate Marketing and the Region/Local operations and sales teams, as well as cross functional teams, supporting marketing strategies and planning. The Manager, Marketing and Communications is responsible for understanding operational objectives, budgeting, and planning of marketing/advertising/promotional programs to support acquired companies while adhering to corporate goals and guidelines. The Manager, Marketing and Communications will build and secure brand equity, drive regional and local business results and work to transition acquired companies to the Relation brand.


A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

  • Establishes strong regional relationships to become a true partner, connecting field and corporate with cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Works with the Regional Sales Leaders and Coordinators to develop and plan marketing programs to generate organic revenue and attract potential acquisitions.
  • Executes thorough acquisition brand transitions.
  • Develops content for marketing materials which adhere to established brand standards.
  • Monitors marketing collateral to ensure adherence to corporate identity and branding standards across all channels.
  • Develops social media and other digital strategies for Corporate, Regions and Producers
  • Leads project management for large Corporate and Regional events.
  • Shares marketing best practices from all Regions and acquisitions with Corporate Marketing services team.
  • Maintains knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts, most importantly brand development, SEO/SEM, event planning, campaigns, CRM database management, marketing automations and partnerships marketing.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor's degree; concentration in marketing or communications.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Marketing.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills: Ability to set ambitious, yet achievable goals, effectively prioritize them, clearly communicate them, and instill the team with a deep sense of accountability for their attainment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive integration of marketing strategy into operational program and planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities effectively, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts.
  • Strong technical marketing aptitude. 
  • Understanding of budget management and driving business goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, WordPress, Salesforce/Pardot, Social, Project Management tools and Google Suite software tools.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills.
  • Insurance industry experience highly preferred.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of decentralized, service-based industries is strongly desired, including National and Regional Marketing experience.
